An attractive mid-17th century hand-colored map depicting the Cremasco region centered on Crema in northern Italy, published for the German edition of the Blaeu atlas.
Condition: Minor edge toning and light handling wear along margins.. Handwritten pencil inventory number ("659") in lower left margin.. Original hand coloring remains vivid and well. preserved.. Verso details. Uniform age. toning and faint marginal foxing.. Mounting tape remnants/hinge tabs along the top edge.. Page number '84' present in the upper left margin.. Crisp letterpress typography with a decorative woodcut initial letter 'H'.
