A striking late 19th-century albumen photograph by Félix Bonfils capturing the majestic arches (Mawazin) and the exquisite Summer Pulpit (Minbar of Burhan al-Din) on the Temple Mount platform in Jerusalem.
Condition: Good preservation with rich sepia tones.. Minor edge wear and slight curling characteristic of unmounted albumen prints.. Light handling creases at the bottom edge.. Verso details. Light toning and minor edge wear consistent with age.. Pencil stock number "15029. 28" in a small neat box on the right margin.. Strong image show. through from the front side.
