An exceptional late 19th-century albumen photograph by renowned French photographer Félix Bonfils, capturing a historic panoramic view of the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, including early structures, terraces, and the Russian Orthodox Church of Mary Magdalene.
Condition: Minor edge chipping and wear to the cardboard mount, most notably at the upper. right corner.. Light toning and handling soil on the mount margins.. The albumen print exhibits excellent contrast, rich tones, and minimal fading or silvering.. Verso details. Uniform light browning/toning across the sheet..
